1. Nature of Our Inventory

Adelante Thrift sells donated, pre-owned, vintage, and resale items.

Because of the nature of thrift and secondhand goods:

• Items may show signs of prior use
• Minor imperfections are common
• Wear consistent with age is expected
• Packaging may not be original

Each item is unique and typically one-of-a-kind.

2. As-Is Sales

All items are sold AS-IS and WITH ALL FAULTS, whether visible or not.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:

• You understand the item is pre-owned unless explicitly stated otherwise
• You have reviewed all photos and descriptions
• You accept the item in its current condition

3. Cosmetic & Functional Condition

We make reasonable efforts to:

• Photograph visible flaws
• Describe notable defects
• Provide approximate measurements

However, we cannot guarantee:

• Perfect cosmetic condition
• Manufacturer-level functionality
• Compatibility with other items
• Odor-free condition (items are donated and may retain scent)

Normal wear, fading, scuffs, loose threads, patina, or minor surface marks are not considered defects.

4. Vintage & Antique Items

Vintage or antique items may:

• Contain aged materials
• Have structural fragility
• Lack modern safety standards
• Require restoration or maintenance

Buyers assume responsibility for evaluating suitability before purchase.

5. Electronics & Mechanical Items

Unless explicitly stated as tested and functional:

• Electronics are sold as-is
• Mechanical items may require servicing
• Batteries may not be included

We recommend inspection at pickup.

6. Measurements & Color Variation

All measurements are approximate.

Colors may vary due to:

• Lighting
• Screen settings
• Photography differences

Variations in tone or shade are not grounds for refund.

7. Allergies & Sensitivities

As items are donated and pre-owned, they may have:

• Exposure to pets
• Exposure to smoke
• Exposure to fragrances or detergents

Adelante Thrift cannot guarantee allergen-free items.

8. Final Acknowledgment

By purchasing from Adelante Thrift, you confirm that:

• You understand the nature of secondhand goods
• You accept reasonable wear and imperfections
• You agree to our Refund Policy and Terms of Service
